Over the years we’ve been through a lot together as mother + daughter, best friends, and business partners. There have been some tough times and lots of good times. And through it all with God's help, we’ve always stayed true to ourselves and to our dreams.

A dream come true.

When we moved to Oregon in 2004 we saw this as an opportunity to realize a lifelong dream—to combine our business skills with our love of fashion and open a boutique.

The dream becomes a reality.

gk1 opened in June 2006. A fashion-forward boutique where the age of the woman takes second place to the woman's style. We believe that cutting edge fashion, if done with style, can be shared by the generations. gk1 has something unique and stylish for everyone. 

Our dream for our customers.

We love fashion; it’s true. And we love to shop. But we realize that it’s more than finding jeans that fit perfectly or a shirt that you swear was made for you (although, we love that too!). It’s about finding clothes that make you feel beautiful, inside and out. That’s our dream for our customers.
